Goldsmiths Psychology

Daneil Müllensiefen is Lecturer in Psychology at Goldsmiths' College. His research interests include understanding individual differences in musical ability, musical memory, and statistical models of music cognition.

Daniel's role on Transforming Musicology will involve directing the psychological study into the salience of Wanger's leitmotives in the Ring Cycle. He will design and carry out psychological experiements and integrate his results with the computational study of the leitmotives being conducted by Laurence Dreyfus.
